IT I!S FINISHED!!!!!!!

Joh 19:30 Jesus drank the wine and said, "It is finished!" Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

What does this FINISHED really mean. Does it mean he has done what our Father wanted Jesus to do? To restore our ADAM's Kingly Right at the Garden of EDEN.

OLD TESTAMENT VERSES-
Gen 3:22 And Jehovah God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever -
Gen 3:23 therefore Jehovah God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden the Cherubim, and the flame of a sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

NEW TESTAMENT VERSES-

Joh 6:54 Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them to life on the last day.
Joh 6:58 This, then, is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the bread that your ancestors ate, but then later died. Those who eat this bread will live forever."

Old Testament >Tree of life> Fruit= has a Body and Juice > Eternal Life = live forever

New Testament > The Cross = Tree = Gal 3:1 > Jesus Body = Fruit = Flesh(Body) + Blood (Juice) > Eternal Life = Live forever.

Today, the tree of life is virtually everyway in the world. We are in the world but yet we are out of the world system. (Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.)We by faith can now eat the Tree of life. The tree of life is JESUS. By having our HOLY COMMUNION, we wont die a physical death that Jesus is clearly pointing to in John 6:58 Those who eat this breath will live forever.......... He is talking about physical life in this planet earth as the ealier part of the verses is referring to physical death of the ancestors that ate the bread and died physically (not spiritually). The ealier part of the verse refers to physical death and the later part of the verse must also refers to physical eternal life. It cannot be spiritual. If it is refering to spiritual, the whole verses is out of text.

I pray that you see the truth. And start eating the tree of life everyday.

Bro Michael, nice post.
Id like to know if God has grant us eternal life, would it matter how long the physical being lasts as we were taught to walk by faith, then living a life of 100/120/150 years would be as if to limit the years to our life when our goal is to live and ask God for a long life. Thank you.

Benjamin,

Jesus prayed this prayer before He was nailed to the cross.........Joh 17:15 I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to keep them safe from the Evil One.

I believe when we see Jesus desire that we stay in this world and work for Him here. The harvest is pleanty, but the workers are a few. It is more glorious for us to serve Him here.

I personally think we can live forever in our physical body until Christ comes. 100 years or 150 years are just teasers that I am throwing out in this blog to get beleivers to think of a possibility of long life in this physical world. The ultimate is to live forever. Originally, Adam was made not to die a physical death. He falled from grace and he eventually have to face physical death. Jesus is bigger than sin and He can overcome sin. Jesus came to restore the glory that was once accorded to Adam. Think about it, if Jesus came to die for us to give us back our Righteousness, what more will He not hold back from us. He is giving us eternal life only to short change us physical life. I strongly feel He is not stingy in his gift. He wants to bless us overflowingly. That is the hearth of our Heavenly Father.

But to state such claims upfront about our Heavenly Father without preparing believers for a long life journey, will make a few of us look like crazy people.

Anyway, our journey continues and YES, I fully agree with you, we should not limit our life to 150 years when we are to walk by faith to have long eternal life with Him.

God bless

Thank you Micheal for the explanation.
I have another question from what you explained.Christ came to die for Adam's sin to make us Righteous, meaning if Adam did not sin(was Righteous) he would not die a physical death. My question is,if during the time of the Old testament(before Christ came) people lived few hundred years and if it was shortened due to sin then why was there no significant increase of lifespan(physical) after Christ has come if he came to Earth physically to make us Righteous

God Bless
